Christi Paul was born in January 1, 1969. She was raised in Bellevue in Ohio and later attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.

Christi Paul joined
CNN in the spring of 2003. She got her start in the broadcast career as a broadcaster in several TV stations immediately after graduating from college in Clarksburg in West Virginia. She now holds a bachelor's of arts degree in broadcast journalism from the University Of Toledo, Ohio. During that time, she worked as an anchor, editor, photographer and a reporter at the WDTV. She later moved on to other TV stations where she worked as a reporter and anchor in TV stations in Boise, Phoenix and Idaho.
Her rise to fame started in Idaho. She was honored by the Idaho Press Club for her great story about a four year old girl who had survived through five organ transplant. She is currently an award winning reporter and a weekday anchor for
CNN Headline
news in the afternoons and at times for the 'Morning Express with Robin Meade' as a fill-in.
Christi Paul has worked for the KYVK, a
CNN affiliate in Phoenix as an anchor and a consumer reporter and later with KNXV in Phoenix as a
news anchor and weather caster. She has also worked for an
NBC affiliate, the KTVB in Boise. During this time, she got married to reporter and
news anchor, Rob Koebel, who she met in West Virginia.
In the humanitarian side, Christi Paul is an ambassador for the Starlight Startbright Children Foundation and serves in the Safe Kids Georgia. More to that, she was named an 'Outstanding Alumna' from the Toledo's University department of communication where she had graduated from.
Other than her great newscasting achievement, Christi Paul is a noted singer. This happened after she performed the National Anthem in front of the Atlanta Braves and the Florida Marlins game on the Wednesday of 6th July 2007.
Though in her forties, Christi Paul still holds a beauty that turns men around.
